| This integration shows the Solar System but starts off with a
close-up of the Sun. Instead of holding the Sun static in the centre
of the screen it is free to move around as in fact it does naturally. The centre of the screen is the Solar System
Barycentre (centre of mass and momentum of the Solar System). Notice how the Sun moves
round the Barycentre in response to the gravity of the planets. Zoom
out until you can see the orbits of the inner planets. Notice how the
tracks they follow are slightly uneven showing how the entire orbits
of these planets follow the Sun's movements quite closely.
This is much less noticeable with the outer planets.
This integration includes all the major bodies of the Solar System
plus Halley's comet and Sedna. Integration steps are variable.
Integration method is Yoshida 6th Order. The Solar System barycentre is held static as the
central point.
