NGC 2371-2 Gemini Nebula

Constellation Gemini

Named for its appearance and for being in Gemini.  The two nebulosities are centred about 13 arcseconds either side of the central star. One side appears to have a foreground star and the other (possibly) a background star.  The image on the right is highly processed to show the faint "wings" about 1 arcminute either side of the central star. Catalog magnitude is 13.
